Our Accreditations
Accreditation represents a stamp of quality for a school, its research and its programmes. Loughborough University Business School is proud to be accredited by both AMBA and EQUIS, which illustrates the international esteem in which the Business School is held.
AMBA
In May 2008 the Association of MBAs (AMBA) re-accredited the Loughborough MBA for another five years, the maximum period the accrediting organisation awards for. AMBA accreditation confirms the international credibility and value of the Loughborough MBA in a market consisting of many hundreds of MBA programmes worldwide. It is therefore highly valued by MBA applicants. Only a select group of MBA programmes are accredited by AMBA and Loughborough University Business School has held the status for well over a decade.

EQUIS
More recently, in November 2008 Loughborough University Business School became EQUIS accredited, which confirms it as one of the world’s elite Business Schools. Awarded by The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the fundamental objective of EQUIS is to raise the standard of management education worldwide. It facilitates international benchmarking, the dissemination of good practice across borders, enhanced opportunities for international research collaborations and programme exchanges, and encourages professional relevance through close connections with the corporate world.

It will be of reassurance to you that in holding these prestigious accreditations, Loughborough University Business School continues to strive to achieve excellence in all that we do.
