Who Will Benefit?

The Postgraduate Programmes in Management and Leadership are specially designed for experienced managers seeking to develop practical skills whilst working towards a university award. In providing a general management qualification, the programmes are suitable for delegates from all functional areas.

Certificate in Management and Leadership: The programme will particularly benefit experienced first line managers and will provide a route to the Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Leadership and Postgraduate Programmes.

Diploma in Management and Leadership: The Diploma programme is designed for middle managers and will provide a sound basis for those seeking to extend their studies to MSc and MBA.

MSc in Management and Leadership: Successful Diploma candidates may register for MSc by dissertation (1 year) or join the Loughborough MBA programme (2-3 years).

Delivery
The Certificate and Diploma programmes are part-time and will normally extend over a period of 18 to 24 months. They involve a combination of short courses, distance learning and work-based assignments and projects. Both programmes are delivered via block release and learning methods are tailored to participants' needs.

Additional Benefits

Chartered Management Institute
A year's membership is offered to delegates, as a part of the programme. CMI's formal Guaranteed Membership Scheme (GMS) brings with it a guarantee that students enrolling on our programme will be accepted at either 'Associate - ACMI' or 'Member - MCMI' - grade on graduation, thereby achieving professional status in addition to a high-level management qualification.
