Our single honours and joint honours courses give students the opportunity to study in a multi-disciplinary environment or specialise in their chosen field.
Loughborough University, of course, continues to make a strong contribution to sport and exercise in the UK, not only in terms of the famous elite athletes who have studied and trained here, but also as a centre of excellence and innovation in coaching, sports technology and research in the psychological, social and biological sciences.
In 2012, the University served as the official preparation camp for Team GB in the London Games and the research of the School has supported the success of British Olympians and Paralympians. The extensive investment in sport at Loughborough means that, as an undergraduate student, you have access to the very best facilities - including bespoke training and testing equipment, the latest physiological, molecular and environmental technologies, two climatic chambers, the widest range of sports facilities and an £8m development housing 27 laboratories. There are specialist labs for human biology, psychology, physiology and biomechanics.
