MSc Sport Management

Suheil's hometown is Delhi but he studied at an international boarding school in the foothills of the Himalayas. He completed a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and Economics at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Sport has always played a big part in Suheil's life and he became interested in studying for a Masters in Sport Management during the final year of his Bachelor degree. After his Masters degree Suheil intends to find employment in the field of sport development.

"I enjoy playing and watching a variety of different sports, but in the past few years have concentrated quite a lot on playing cricket. Loughborough University is one of the best sports universities in the world, and their Sport Management programme is renowned. So, once I got a place here, it was a really easy decision to come here to pursue my Masters in Sport Management.

Loughborough University is a great place to be. The campus is really nice, especially given all the sports fields and facilities. For a sports enthusiast like me, it is the ideal place to pursue a degree related to sports.

When I first arrived here, people were very friendly and welcoming on campus, especially the International Office, where the people are very approachable for any kind of advice. The course has been very good. Some of our professors are pioneers in their field and are renowned for their work. It really makes it worthwhile doing a course with them.

As I have mentioned, the facilities are great at Loughborough. I have never seen anything like it anywhere before! The social life here is great too. The Students’ Union is an integral part of the University and it helps students get involved in different societies, sports and organises night life for students, which is great for a campus-based university.

I would definitely recommend Loughborough University to other students, especially those that have a keen interest in sport. All facilities (especially the sporting ones) are magnificent, the student population is great, the University setting provides a wonderful opportunity to meet many new people, and finally the academic staff at the University is top-class."
