Creative genius of Loughborough University students on display at 2010 degree shows
Students put the finishing touches to their displays
The incredible talent of final year students from Loughborough University’s School of Art and Design and Department of Design and Technology will go on display in just a few days time.
The annual degree shows provide a unique opportunity for people to view a stunning array of artwork and innovative products – all created by Loughborough students.
A whole host of artistic genres will be showcased, including furniture, painting, film, graphic design, animation, textiles and industrial design.
Speaking about the School of Art and Design Finals Exhibition, Director Marsha Meskimmon said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for the school. It represents hours and hours of hard work by all the students, and for many it is the first time their work has been on display to such a wide audience.
“The exhibition never fails to impress and I really would urge people to come along and see for themselves what amazing talent has been nurtured here at the University. These students are the artists and designers of the future.”
Tony Hodgson, Head of the Department of Design and Technology, added: “The ‘TwentyTen Industrial Design Degree Show’ will showcase the talent of more than 100 students. The work produced this year has been outstanding, incredibly innovative and a real insight into the products of tomorrow.”
